Ability to cancel a manual scan mid-scan

I encountered an issue where a manual scan was consuming 100% CPU resources, and I couldn't find a way to stop it through the console or on the endpoint. It would be beneficial to have the capability to cancel a manual scan mid-scan to better manage resources from an admin perspective.

I have the same issue. The only options from Huntress is to end the scan through the Defender UI or through CLI. The problem is when the device resources are completely consumed with the scan, you generally cannot access either of these options for cancelling the scan. There absolutely needs to be an option to cancel the scan from Huntress. It would also be extremely helpful to have an option to run the scan in the background without consuming all of the resources.

I completely agree with this. Having the ability to cancel a manual scan mid-process would be extremely helpful. When scans consume excessive resources, it directly impacts productivity, and being able to stop them would give admins much better control and flexibility.
