Allow friendly name instead of just HostName

Need a way to describe agent. Currently only allows HostName. Please consider adding Friendly name so when you have a hostname, such as DESKTOP-PD111CV, you can add into Friendly name something like "Bill's laptop"

Agreed. All other providers I've used have this; would definitely be a helpful addition to make organization of endpoints easier and more streamlined across other like products.

Major upvote for this feature. We add friendly names in SentinelOne and our RMM to make it easier to identify and filter the systems. Having this feature in Huntress would make a world of difference!

I agree. I have a lot of scenarios where I can't just rename the PC. Just the other day I renamed one but Timeslips software stopped working, so I had to name the PC back to Janie-PC even though Janie no longer works there. My last 2 AV providers have this feature. NinjaOne and SyncroMSP have this feature. Huntress seems to be trailing the pack...
