As generative AI ecosystems expand, unmanaged AI tool usage presents significant data exfiltration and governance blind spots. We need the Huntress Agent to proactively monitor and govern any AI agents, workflows, and large language model processes invoked directly on endpoints, including Claude Desktop, Claude Code, ChatGPT, Deepseek, and local API execution.
Currently, IT and security teams lack visibility into which local AI agents are running and what data is being processed through them. To address this, we request the following capabilities:
Endpoint AI Monitoring: The Huntress Agent should detect and log the invocation of AI applications, background LLM workflows, and AI-related API calls originating from the machine.
Centralized Admin Dashboard: A dedicated view mapping AI agent activity and API calls per endpoint, providing clear telemetry on shadow AI usage.
Restriction and Governance Controls: The ability for administrators to explicitly restrict, block, or allow-list specific AI processes or API endpoints directly from the Huntress dashboard.
Implementing these controls will allow organizations to enforce AI governance policies, secure sensitive data, and manage risk without completely stifling productivity.
