I’d like to request an enhancement to our External Recon Feature/Shodan integration to support optionally scanning full IP ranges alongside our individual agent-protected IPs. Expanding beyond endpoint IPs can transform this feature into a External Attack Surface Management capability, giving us visibility into agentless assets like networked printers, security cameras, industrial PLCs, and medical devices. Whether it is a corporate enterprise identifying exposed printer management interfaces or a healthcare organization tracking medical IoT, every company needs visibility into its shadow IT perimeter. Furthermore, incorporating Shodan’s rich banner telemetry (including detected software names, exact version numbers, CPEs, open CVE vulnerabilities, and visual screenshots) will give security teams immediate proof of exposure to prioritize remediation.
