We have customers who are non-profit or education and generally have high security requirements with low budget.

If we could offer discounts for charitable or edu orgs we could push alot more, especially MDR.

Same here, EDU institutions usually have a high user count (students). Since MDR for M365 is licensed by users, the monthly costs would be astronomically high.

My suggestion would be to implement a possibility to exclude certain user groups from the licensing calculation. E.g. student accounts with a free A1 license.
