Hey Scott (great name!) we have quite a few updates coming for CAP which are especially around making it clear what the policy does, which identities/apps etc it impacts. If it's a Huntress Managed Policy then you'll also get a description of the policy. And finally, we'll also be bringing in our discovery mode which will let you get a real-view of the impact a policy would have before it's turned on.
