Pricing

The decision to price per identity, when the product seems to be tenant-focused, is one I don't quite understand.
I understand it from a business perspective, but I don't understand the philosophy that managing policies for a tenant with 100 users is somehow 100X more difficult to manage than a tenant with 1 user.
I would love to understand the logic or the level of overhead that more users create for a system that ensures best practices are deployed and stay deployed.

I would also like to understand how they landed on their pricing.
CIPP has 3 times the controls ISPM does and is free. I was shocked to see they are charging anything for ISPM. I expected a value add to ITDR or a price increase of 5% and include it in ITDR licensing.

This product overlaps with another vendor we use, and their pricing is flat rate. I agree that the pricing model for this should be per tenant with some tiers...

Heath Burchfield Can't speak for Chad Odom, but nerdio is $50 per tenant, has this feature and more, and CIPP self-hosted (free) and hosted ($100/mo -- no per tenant cost) does this and more, albeit with less polish.

Totally agree with all points made here the pricing model doesn't make sense or can be justified by the outcomes it provides.

Completely in Agreement... I was genuinely shocked when it was priced per Identity. I can understand that perhaps it could be charged Per Tenant with some tiers... such as 1-50, 51-100 etc..

Totally agree. I am on the fence at the moment based on the current pricing model. Flat fee per tenant is a much more practical and fair pricing model for this particular module.

Agreed here as well, not sure why it's at the user level, when it's all about tenant level policies.

Agreed here - this product is a non-starter for us due to the way its priced.

Yes - polices are per tenant, pricing per tenant makes a lot more sense - and this is for many icing on a cake we bake daily ie we alreandy manage these per tenant, most polices if not all are already in place, it makes it more convenient, but not in it's current form, and not at anywhere near the proposed cost - maybe $20/tenant per month... this is a great cherry to existing Huntress products but IMO does not have the value many of the other Huntrss offerings bring to the table which cannot be self managed like policy can.
