Managed Learning Assignments are currently set to close 2 months after release. However, the assignments close early in the morning on the last day by default, which can be misleading. For example, in the July 2026 assignment, the end date was scheduled for August 31, but it closed around 6:00 AM Eastern Time, before users had a chance to complete it on the last day.

It would be nice to be able to set default end dates and times for Managed Learning assignments, or to allow them to close at the end of the day based on users' local time.
