With Ubuntu 22.04 reaching end of standard support in April 2027, official testing and support for the kernel shipped with Ubuntu 26.04 will become increasingly important. While we are already observing deployments running this kernel in production environments without reported issues, it is not currently included within Huntress' officially supported configurations. As organizations begin planning their migration strategies, validating and formalizing support for Ubuntu 26.04 should remain an active priority rather than being deferred as a future maintenance item.
